IDEA Certified Social Media 101 Educator

Welcome to the IDEA Social Media 101 online course. In this course you’ll learn a lot about various social media platforms, not just for you so that you can grow your Professional Learning Network (PLN), but also to help foster responsible and meaningful use with your students and in your communities. This course consists of five (5) modules: What is social media, one module each on the basics of Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, and the final module is developing a plan for using social media. Educators can earn 15 ISBE Professional Development Hours after the successful completion of the course! * Please note: enrollment in this course is not instantaneous.
