We find ourselves in a moment where the dialogue about racism - both systemic and interpersonal, is happening across the nation. As we prepare for addressing these conversations about race and equity in our classrooms, we want to equip you with a framework and strategies to help you feel prepared.
IDEA is honored to partner with EVERFI and presenters Jesse Bridges - Senior Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Erica Hart - Senior Schools Manager to offer this learning opportunity. Educators will leave this session with an awareness of the Culturally Responsive Teaching framework as well as strategies to create opportunities for deeper classroom conversations surrounding race and equity. Attendees will also gain access to digital resources as well as the Your Classroom Culture toolkit complete with lessons, activities, and relevant articles. There is no cost for the PD, resources, training or ongoing support. Intended for educators grades 7-12.
