Wednesday Webinar | Computer Science Education in Illinois: Understanding the legislation, mandates, endorsement, resources, and MORE!

During this webinar, participants will learn more about the current computer science education landscape in Illinois. We will discuss current legislation related to computer science and how it impacts schools in the coming school year. Participants will learn more about computer science teaching requirements and how UIUC's CSTed program can help teachers get endorsed. Participants will also learn about CS PD Week, a brand new professional learning event happening this summer in Bloomington that will help districts get started or strengthen their computer science courses K-12. With all of these resources, schools will be to address the new computer science mandates and bring high quality computer science opportunities to their students!
