Meet Andy!

Andy Fekete is the Director for Innovation and Technology for Community Consolidated School District #93. Andy is excited to continue as the Governing Board member for the Western Suburbs Chapter of the Illinois Digital Educator Alliance (IDEA) and serve on the conference planning committee for IDEAcon. Andy's passion lies in using instructional technology to maximize each student's academic, social, and emotional potential while unlocking experiential learning once unattainable. Additionally, Andy seeks to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of educators to empower and maximize their efficiency and effectiveness so that they may do what's best for their students daily.

Andy is a huge sports fan and loves to travel, especially exploring new places and restaurants. He lives in Algonquin, Illinois, with his wife, Kim, and their two children, Dylan and Mackenzie.
