Spotlight Communities this year to enhance our membership experience. Spotlight Communities offer additional ways for educators to
connect around shared subjects, roles, interests, experiences, and areas of practice. Our new Spotlight Communities will build upon, and not replace our geographic foundation.
Regional Communities
IDEA’s 21 geographically aligned chapters will continue to connect educators throughout Illinois based on where they live, work, and or serve.
We believe this is a great way to connect as local relationships matter. Educators in the same region often
understand one another’s schools, communities, opportunities, and challenges in ways that cannot be replicated across distance.
